Stefan Fischer is the head of the Institute of Telematics. He has been a professor of computer science at the University of Lübeck since 2004. His research interests include, next to nano computing and communications, wirelesse sensor networks and, more broadly, the Internet of Things.
Florian-Lennert Lau is the head of the Nano Group since 2021. He works at the ITM since July 2016. He researches Self-Assembly Systems and their applications at the nanoscale. He further researches algorithms for the construction of arbitrary three-dimensional nanosctructures from basic components like DNA. Self-assembly systems can be used to create fully functional nanonetworks that can communicate via self-assembled, computing molecular messages.
Regine Wendt works at the ITM since January 2018. Her main focus is on the simulation of the working environment of medical Nanobots. She is currently developing a body simulator to investigate the distribution and movement of Nanobots in the human body.
Marc Stelzner works at the ITM since June 2013. His research interest is about required medical application scenarios as well as localization and addressing of Nanodevices. He is currently developing a function centric networking concept for replaceable Nanodevices without individual addresses.
