The ITM is member of the Smart City Research Center Lübeck (SmartCiRCLe). In this context we are performing several activities in the city of Lübeck with partners from Science, Industry and Government.

Some examples:

• Gate to Baltic Sea (Tor zur Ostsee) is a joint project of ITM and TraDaV which is realized in the context of Lübeck's election to the German Stadt der Wissenschaft 2012 (City of Science 2012) and presents live views of ships in and around Lübeck
• Smart Lübeck Parking is a visualization of the current parking space occupation in Lübeck.
• Sound of the City was developed in the context of the BMBF funded ZukunftsWerkStadt I in Lübeck and provides a smartphone app to create a noise map of the city.
• AURA is a general concept for the modularization of smart services provided on mobile devices. First developed in the context of a Bachelor's thesis it is now further developed within the BMBF funded ZukunftsWerkStadt II.
